Celtic Boar
Esse est percipi
Since birth I travelled the world searching for adventures and enlightenment. I thought everything I saw and experienced was reality, and I was disappointed. One day an unusual messenger appeared. He beckoned me to follow but offered no details. The curious circumstances frightened me, but I couldn't pass such an opportunity. I followed the shaman. On my way I discovered a beautiful jade trinket lying on the path before me. I picked it up and studied the curious glyphs carved into it, but it slipped away from me. I approached the mouth of a cave. A bright light shone from the entrance. I blinked. It seemed as if I had been in the cave all my life, and this was an exit, not an entrance. I stepped through anyway. As I stepped through, my soul snapped free of my body. I saw incredible things, colours I had never seen before and distant sounds resounded with crystal clarity. Helpers approached me. They guided me through this spirit world and explained all the mysteries. They taught me healing songs and strengthening rituals. I flew with them. While in thoughtless ecstacy, I fell prey to the Lord of Death. He tore me to pieces. He devoured me. Inside him, I thought of my amulet and sang a song my allies had taught me. I died. I was born again as he regurgitated me, keeping only the amulet for himself. I had won the elixir of knowledge. Where should I go now? I followed the shaman.> But it slipped away from me. I stepped through anyway. Where am I? I flew with them. I died. Where should I go now?
